A document storage device comprises a planar member 10 supporting document holders 20, 22, which may be of different sizes, shapes and colours to receive different documents and allow them to be readily identified, and comprising a plurality of pockets, pouches or bags mounted on said member in positions partially overlying one another. The holders may be formed from clear, rectangular, flat, plastics pieces 24, 28 attached along three side edges to said member 10 and to one another to form the pockets. Alternatively, the holders may comprise a series of bags or pouches (52, Fig 3) each attached along one edge to said member. Adhesive patches (58) adjacent the frees edges of the bags or pouches, releasably hold the bags or pouches in position. The document holders may be closed and/or sealed; for example by interfitting bead parts or a button, stud or hook arrangement. The member 10 may be folded to provide a cover for holders thereon, and closable and/or sealable to protect documents therein; and may be provided with a clip, tag or other means 38 enabling the device to be mounted on a rod or hook arrangement 42 in a document filing system. <IMAGE> |
