<p>PURPOSE:To provide a paper sheet handling apparatus which includes a stamping mechanism 33 and a punch mechanism 34 and can reduce the space in the paper sheet transport direction. CONSTITUTION:A stamp and punch apparatus 21 is an apparatus for handling a paper sheet discharged from a copying machine main body 1. The apparatus includes a paper sheet introducing section 30 for introducing a paper sheet, a paper sheet discharge section 31 for discharging a paper sheet, and a first transport path 40 for connecting the paper sheet introducing section 30 to the paper sheet discharge section 31. The apparatus further comprises a stamp mechanism 33 for stamping a paper sheet in the first transport path 40, a second transport path 41 branching downward in the midway of the first transport path 40, a punch mechanism 34 for punching a paper sheet in the second transport path 41, and transport means including a drive motor or the like for transporting a paper sheet in the respective transport paths 40, 41.</p> |
