摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve acceleration of a vehicle by varying the change rate of target drive torque according to the magnitude of acceleration of a vehicle and setting the change rate of the target drive torque to a high value when transfer to a straight running state from a cornering state is effected. CONSTITUTION:An electronic control unit 15 controls a plurality of solenoid valves 51 and 56 for controlling torque, disposed to a plurality of pipings 50 and 55, respectively, communicated to the intake air passage 19 of a vehicle engine 11, by means of an output signal from a torque computing unit 76. In this case, a torque computing unit 76 computes lateral acceleration of a vehicle based on output signals from a steering angle sensor 84 and car speed sensors 80 and 81, and computes correction reference drive torque according to lateral acceleration. Correction demand drive torque is computed based on output signals from a number of revolutions sensor 62 and an accelerator opening sensor 77. Further, both correction values are added to compute target drive torque, and the change rate of the target drive torque is limited according to lateral acceleration.</p>
