<p>PURPOSE:To avoid quenching of a spark plug and emission of unburned fuel, stably suppress increasing of a rotational speed and to decrease a fluctuation by detecting the engine speed from increasing according to rapid reduction of a load, and temporarily delaying ignition timing when the engine speed is detected to exceed a preset reference value. CONSTITUTION:When a rotational speed is rapidly increased by load interruption or the like and detected to exceed a threshold value by a controller 17, a retard signal of delaying ignition timing is output to an igniter 16 from the controller 17 to start the ignition timing delayed. In an engine 1, since its generated output is decreased even when a supply amount of fuel is not changed, a rise of the engine speed is suppressed. Since this control is performed separately from ordinary governor action, the engine speed is considered to again exceed the threshold value by even balance with a governor, and when the control is immediately restarted, since the engine speed is placed in a hunting condition to generate possibility of unstable action, the control is restarted after the fixed detection stop time.</p> |
