PRODUCTION OF POWDERY STARTING MATERIAL FOR BETA-ALUMNA

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce powdery starting material for beta-alumina hardly causing orientation of particles. CONSTITUTION:Inorg. salts of Na, Al and Mg and/or Li are mixed under stirring at <=300 deg.C and a soln. or water is added to the mixture. The resulting aq. soln. is heat-treated at <=1,300 deg.C to obtain powdery starting material for beta-alumina.
