PURPOSE:To provide a bonesetting device eliminating a need of re-operation for removing a pin, while ensuring the high initial strength and elastic modulus of joined bones, and the compatibility of a core member with an organism, providing a cover material decomposable and absorbable in an organism for keeping the occurrence of burning at an extremely low level due to a burst of absorption, and further ensuring the early filling of a cavity with a new bone after the absorption of the cover material into the organism. CONSTITUTION:A compact made of biocompatible oxide ceramics or calcium phosphate ceramics is used as a core member. Also, this core member is covered with a film of polylactic acid decomposable and absorbable in an organism, or preferably with a uniaxial oriented film of polylactic acid. |
