<p>PURPOSE:To increase the amt. of particles contained in gas and collected by a honeycomb sheet in the electrostatic precipitator consisting of an ionization part and a collection part using the dielectric honeycomb sheet. CONSTITUTION:Honeycomb sheets 20a,...20d are laminated so that the axial directions of the holes of the sheets are zigzagged to constitute dielectric blocks 40a and 40b. The collection part is formed with the blocks and honeycomb conductors 10b, 10c and 10d. A DC voltage is impressed on the collection part through a switch 72 which can be periodically switched by a timer circuit 76 while changing the polaritites of the DC current.</p> |
