PURPOSE:To improve life time of a refractory produced by gunning by using a new binder without using binders hitherto shown disadvantageousness in producing thereof. CONSTITUTION:The objective refractory produced by gunning is prepared by adding 6-8wt.% silica sol containing 0.05-1.0wt.% magnesia ultrafine grains and 15-25wt.% SiO2 to a base material obtained by blending 60-90wt.% alumina clinker with 10-40wt.% spinel clinker. |
