PURPOSE:To provide a reversible thermal recording medium having a thermal recording layer composed of a composition capable of recording data at lower temp. at a higher speed as compared with a case using a polymer blend. CONSTITUTION:A reversible thermal recording medium has a reversible thermal recording layer constituted of a composition mainly containing an org. low- molecular compound having an amide group and polyurethane being a binder resin.
