JOINING AGENT FOR SILICON NITRIDE CERAMICS

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve joining strength under high temperature by forming the subject joining agent from silicon nitride and oxide mixture contained in a prescribed ratio. CONSTITUTION:The objective silicon nitride ceramic-joining agent is formed of 5-70vol.% silicon nitride and 95-30vol.% oxide mixture. The oxide mixture consists of 10-55mol% calcium oxide, 30-79.8mol% silicon oxide (SiO2), 0.1-20mol% aluminum oxide and 0.1-20mol% rare earth oxide. A joined material of silicon nitride obtained by using the joining agent has high strength capable of sufficiently withstanding even when used under high temperature.
