FIELD: aircraft engine engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: device arranged in the line feeding fuel to the manifold incorporates an on-off control valve connecting the manifold, in one position, to the pressure source and, in another position, to the drain line. Apart from the said control valve, the line incorporates a shutoff valve with a damper at its inlet. The shutoff valve closing time is subject to the damper running through and is selected to ensure a complete removal of fuel from the drain line. ^ EFFECT: closing the manifold rules out the penetration of combustion and oxidation products from the combustion chamber into the manifold after cutting off or blowing through the manifolds. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
