PURPOSE: To provide a trocal assembly in which sliding of a medical device to an operation cut part is prohibited by composing a gear member in such a way that a second end part of a first cylindrical member is moved between a contracted outer diameter and an expanded outer diameter without moving an outer diameter of a second cylindrical member from the contracted outer diameter to the expanded outer diameter by manual operation. CONSTITUTION: A first and a second thin and long cylindrical members 12, 13 are installed to be concentric to each other, the first cylindrical member 12 has a through passage 16 for receiving an auxiliary surgical tool, and a second end part of the first cylindrical member 12 has a first outer diameter contracted to the standard to be selectively expanded to a second expansion outer diameter, where the outer diameter of the first cylindrical member 12 resists removal of a trocal assembly 10 from a human cavity when it is selectively expanded. A gear member is composed in such a way that the second end part of the first cylindrical member 12 is moved between the contracted outer diameter and the expanded outer diameter without moving an outer diameter of the second cylindrical member 13 from the contracted outer diameter to the expanded outer diameter by manual operation. |
