PURPOSE:To reduce the exchange cost of a probe held freely attachably and detachably at the front end of a hand piece and to obviate the dislodgment of a screw member for operating the attachment and detachment of the probe from the front end of the hand piece. CONSTITUTION:The probe holder consists of a joint 9 having an insertion hole 13 for housing the base end of the probe, a cylindrical probe holder 18 having screw threads 21 screwed to the outer peripheral surface at the front end of the joint on the inner peripheral surface, a probe fastener 17 engaging with the stepped or tapered part on the inside surface of the holder, and a cover nut 10 for fixing the joint to the hand piece body 1. The probe fastener is pressed by tightening the screw threads 21 of the probe holder to tighten and grip the probe 15. The outside diameter of the annular projecting part 24 on the outer periphery at the rear end of the probe holder is formed larger than th8 inside diameter of the annular projecting part 103 on the inner peripheral surface at the front end of the cover nut. |
