FUEL INJECTION VALVE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PURPOSE: To eliminate high pressure sealing plugs with respect to a fuel injector for use in an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION: A fuel injector 10 for use in an internal combustion engine is actuated by an engine valve train during the injection stroke. A control solenoid 58 is mounted on the injector and has its axis inclined with respect to the axis of the injector. A control passage 50 has its axis substantially coaxial with the central axis of the control solenoid. Machining of the control passage is accomplished through a receiving boss for the control solenoid.
