PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material not causing the abrasion of a thermal head and excellent in head matching properties. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material formed by providing a thermal color forming layer on a support, a protective layer mainly constituted of a resin and a filler with Mohs hardness of 2.0 or less (e.g. amorphous silica pref. having a particle size of 1.0mum or less) is provided on the thermal color forming layer. |
