BIO-DEODORIZING CARTRIDGE FOR STORAGE TYPE TOILET OF TRAMCAR

PURPOSE:To obtain the title bio-deodorizing cartridge removing the malodor of a tramcar toilet by packing a container with gel beads obtained by dropping a mixture of a culture solution of bacteria and sodium alginate in an aqueous calcium chloride solution. CONSTITUTION:A bacteria producing solution-containing agent consisting of a bacteria producing component, nutrition sources therefor and sodium alginate is dropped in an aqueous calcium chloride solution to obtain gel beads 2. A cylindrical container 3 closed by upper and lower lid bodies 4 having a large number of small holes 5 is packed with the gel beads 2 to form a cartridge 3 which is, in turn, attached to the outlet of the exhaust pipe for a tramcar storage type toilet. By this constitution, the malodor of the tramcar storage type toilet can be deodorized and removed over a long period of time.
