PURPOSE:To prevent degradation of service due to erronous registration for an elevator group in which an elevator for general passenger is used also as an elevator for disabled people, by judging whether a call from disabled people is really from a disabled person or not, on the elevator side. CONSTITUTION:When a call from a call button for elevator stop for disabled people is registered, it is judged whether there is a wheelchair or not by a wheelchair detector 11 through an image recognition process based on image information collected by a television camera, and when a wheelchair exits, an elevator for disabled people is allotted to this call by an elevator controller 10. When a wheelchair does not exist, the call is cancelled by the elevator controller. Even when a call for elevator stop for disabled people is registered by a general passenger in form of his mischief, it is judged whether the call is really from a disabled person on the elevator side or not, based on which the call is validated or cancelled, and degradation in operational service due to erronous registration, can be thus prevented. |
