PURPOSE:To enable an outdoor or sea bathing user of an ultraviolet-ray intensi ty alarm device to recognize in advance the time at which the user must concern himself about getting sunburn when the user is continuously exposed to ultravio let rays under the same condition. CONSTITUTION:Upon receiving an instruction from a key input section 14, the current ultraviolet-ray intensity data measured from an ultraviolet-ray sensor 11 through an A/D-converting section 12 are stored in the measured intensity area 16c of a RAM 16. Then a CPU 13 calculates the limit time at which the user of this device starts to get sunburnt in accordance with an arithmetic program stored in a ROM 17 based on the current ultraviolet-ray intensity data and the minimum exposure dose value(MED value) of ultraviolet rays which is stored in advance in an MED value area 16d in corresponding to the skin type of the user and at which the user starts to get sunburnt and displays the limit time on a displaying section 15. |
