The ski shoe (1) is designed to reduce the risk of injury to the leg, and consists of a shoe part (2) to which is attached a section extending upwards consisting of a lever part and a part which encloses a portion of the leg. The upper part at least partially surrounds the wearer's knee joint. The leg part supports the medial and/or lateral condyle of the knee joint, and has an annular segment shaped part that goes round the quadriceps tendon. The lever part is adjustable in length and is spring-connected to the shoe part.
