The method involves transmitting a pre-configured certified electronic signature generating device (D) to an identified user by a registering operator. User identity and a serial number of the device are transmitted to an administrative authority. A denomination conforming to the identity is generated by the authority. A confidential code associated to the number is transmitted to the user. A nominative digital certificate is generated and updated to the user upon reception of the denomination and the number by a nominative digital certificate producer so as to be used with the device. |
