Around a rotatable shaft (2) several pivot axes (20) are arranged and are rotatable with the shaft. Movement conversion components (8, 20, 22, 24, 25) are available with which the axial movement of a linearly movable drive component is converted into a common pivot movement of the pivot axes independently of the rotary movement of the shaft. The pivot axes at their lower end areas are connected to material removal tools. With the drive component an adjustment body (8) is located axially displaceable on the shaft (2). Axially spaced from the adjustment body is arranged a slide ring (14) connected to the shaft (2). The pivot axes are pivotably held through a limited angle in the slide ring (14). Between the pivot axes (20) and the adjustment body (8) movement transmission components (22, 24, 25) are available. USE - To overcome problems due to the hardness of material in the prodn. of back cuts in holes in concrete and stone material.
