The cabinet is provided with a door which can be opened and closed and which can be locked in the closed position, and with a hole serving as an insertion opening for a cassette or the like, where a unit 15 is arranged next to the said hole and is provided with a storage area, which is open at opposite ends, in the form of a tube section 18 which can be displaced or rotated from a first position, in register with the said hole 12 for receiving a cassette, to a second position (in Figure 3) in register with a hole connected to the inside of the cabinet in order to be able to deliver the cassette inside the safe, or vice versa. The said unit consists of, inter alia, two fixed parallel wall sections 16, 17 between which the said tube section 18 can be rotated by cooperating with two discs 20, 20a which can turn about an axis of rotation of a drive unit. The drive unit 25 is oriented between the said wall sections 16, 17. A drive disc 28 connected to the output shaft of the drive motor 25, with a peripherally oriented running surface 29, 30, is arranged to bear against one 20 of the rotatable discs in order to turn the said discs 20a and the said tube section 18 horizontally between the said first and second positions. <IMAGE> |
