<p>PURPOSE:To provide the optical fiber dispersion compensating device by which the frequency conversion can be executed with high efficiency. CONSTITUTION:This device contains at least a four-light wave mixing/generating device 10, a means for injecting an input signal light into the four-light wave mixing/generating device 10, and a means for fetching an output signal light subjected to frequency conversion, generated from the four-light wave mixing/ generating device, and the four-light wave mixing/generating device 10 is a distribution feedback type semiconductor laser or a distribution Bragg reflection type semiconductor laser, and the distribution feedback type semiconductor laser or the distribution Bragg reflection type semiconductor laser has a means which can control electrically an oscillation frequency, and also, has plural resonance modes.</p> |
