PURPOSE:To prevent the failure of fibers by surely holding the surplus length part 1a of an optical fiber by a simple operation. CONSTITUTION:First and second semicircular plates 5, 6 having grooves 5a, 6a of the radii of curvature larger than the permissible min. radius of curvature of the optical fiber 1 are mounted to a mounting plate 4 and the 2nd semicircular plate 7 is constituted stably along a guide hole 4a. After the surplus length part 1a is wound in the respective grooves 5a, 6a, the second semicircular plate 7 is opened and parted from the 1st semicircular plate 5, by which the slackness of the surplus length part 1a is removed. |
