PURPOSE:To provide a linear ultrasonic motor by which unidirectional strong straight driving force can be gotten though it is compact. CONSTITUTION:A linear ultrasonic motor 1 has an ultrasonic conductive path 6 constituted in an elliptic closed path, and a rotary roller 3 is born on a base plate 7 so as to abut on one part of the surface of this ultrasonic conductive path 6. And, a needle 20 freely of shifting is installed in contact with both the surface of the ultrasonic conductive path 6, on the side opposed to the rotary roller 3, and the rotary roller 3. |
