A metallic sheet of lead, etc., or metallic fiber is incorporated as a core material 2 in the layer of a sound insulating material 3 constitute double walls with the layer of the damper material 1, so the sound insulating performance of the single body is high and an air flow is formed between the layers of the sound insulating material 3 and damper material 1, so large sound insulating performance which is characteristic to the double walls is obtained above a resonance frequency since the air layer serves as a spring. Further, the layer of the damper material 1 and sound insulating material 3 are coupled by a rubber pole 4 which has a low material rolling transmissivity, so vibratory coupling is eliminated.</p>
