PURPOSE:To enable the automatic selection of sheet post-handling devices which normally operate an assigned sheet handling mode without being affected by the connecting state of the plural sheet post-handling devices. CONSTITUTION:This copying device is so constituted that a control means controls the selection of the sheet post-handling devices so as to handle the sheet handling means with the normal sheet post-handling device in a mode having the probability of using the sheet handling means when a discriminating means decides the presence of abnormality in any sheet handling means (for example, stapler 410) among the plural sheet post-handling devices (for example, sorters 400, 401). |
