PURPOSE:To obtain a gain adjusting device capable of executing proper gain adjustment matched with human's thinking and applicable to a controlled object requiring the setting of many evaluation items. CONSTITUTION:A storage means 22 stores a rule group expressing relation between feature variables corresponding to respective groups obtained by dividing plural feature variables into plural groups and their gain adjusting variables and relation between the size of the feature variable of each group and the degree of adoption of the gain adjusting variable. A fuzzy inference part 20 infers the gain adjusting variables of P, I and D in each rule group based upon plural feature variables detected by a feature variable detecting part 18 and the rule group, finds out the degree of adjustment in accordance with the size of the feature variables, finds out a weighted mean value using the degree of adoption as weight based upon the inferred result and the degree of adoption, and determines the gain adjustment variable of the P, I and D. The determined gain adjusting variable is set up in the PID comuting part 12 to adjust respective gain of the P, I and D. |
