The present invention relates to a device for guiding various maintenance tools such as mower, scrub clearer, washer, vacuum cleaner, painting and digging machine along road safety rails. It consists of one or more sliding jaws (1) which match the profile of the rail crash barriers and which are in contact with the ribs of this rail of the barrier through rolling bearings or rollers and locked on the edges of the rail. Between two jaws (1), an integral frame (11) carries the maintenance tools such as, for example, a mower (13). A second mower (not illustrated) may be attached on the other side of the frame. This device can either be towed or pushed by a machine or a person or be self-propelled. It is particularly intended for improving efficiency, quality and safety of maintenance. <IMAGE>
