PURPOSE:To smoothly input characters by re-registering a character registered in a keyboard which is displayed on an input display screen into an arbitrary character and inputting the characters by means of the keyboard provided with the re-registered character. CONSTITUTION:A designation means (pen) 3 designates a character or a character train displayed on a display screen (LCD) 1. A registration means registers the character or character train by the pen 3 in the keyboard which is displayed on the LCD 1. When an arbitrary coordinate area on the keyboard in which the arbitrary character or character train is registered by the registration means is designated by the pen 3, a control means displays a corresponding character (or character train) on the LCD 1. Thus, by designating the registered character or character train is designated on the character (or character train) keyboard, inputting registered reading information by the pen 3 and converting the information into Chinese character and Japanese syllabary, the registered character or character train can be inputted in the device. |
