PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic process controller for an image forming device. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic process controller has an input management section 1 which takes in the value from a means (sensor, etc.) for measuring the internal/external states of the device, such as surface potential and temp., humidity, etc., of a photosensitive body, a means 3 which estimates the potential state of an electrostatic latent image using a neural network in which the characteristics (electrostatic charge characteristic, potential characteristic) based on the system of the device are previously learned with the parameters indicating the internal/external state of the device obtd. by a measuring means and/or electrostatic charge quantity and/or exposure and/or the film thickness, etc., of a photosensitive body, as inputs and the parameters indicating the potential state of the electrostatic latent image previously obtd. by experiment, etc., as teacher values and a means 2 which forms the characteristic parameters of the photosensitive body having an arithmetic means for outputting the output from the means 3 for estimating the potential state of the electrostatic latent image and the characteristic parameters of the photosensitive body by computing the actual potential state obtd. from the measuring means. |
