PURPOSE:To perform copying operation even when a copying controller gets out of order by sending the password of a copying machine corresponding to the copying machine controller judged to be abnormal to a copying machine controller which reports the abnormality and displaying it under the control of a centralized controller. CONSTITUTION:It is decided whether or not an updated password is received and when the password is received, the updated password is stored in a nonvolatile memory S-RAM 44 connected to a CPU 41 and an old password is deleted. During a communication by aperiodic transmission, a new password is sent from a center-side CPU through the CPU 11 of a data terminal. It is decided whether or not the DTID of the faulty data terminal and the password of the copying machine on which the data terminal is mounted are received and when they are received, the name and password of the copying machine of the faulty data terminal are displayed. Consequently, a user can input the password to the copying machine, and use the copying machine. |
