PURPOSE:To print out a clear and sharp character by converting a font style of a character to be transferred optionally. CONSTITUTION:In the case of printing out a transferred character code, a character expansion means 8 expands a character using an outline font in response to the size of the character and a type of a font style designated by a sender and the result is printed out. Furthermore, in the case of transferring the picture information by a facsimile equipment or the like, a character code and picture data are separated before the transfer by a transmission section 1 or the character code and the picture data are separated after the transfer by using a reception section 2, the separated character code is expanded into a character using an outline font designated at the transfer time and picture information having a document of a desired font style is printed out. |
