PURPOSE:To provide a sliding structure between a shaft and a shaft support means capable of preventing a reduction in sliding property between both the members caused by penetration, accumulation and fixation of toner and dust between the shaft and shaft support means, and various inconveniences resulted therefrom. CONSTITUTION:In a sliding structure formed of the outer circumferential surface of a shaft 1 and a shaft support means making sliding contact in its inner circumferential surface with the outer circumferential surface of the shaft, spiral grooves 6, 4 are formed opposite to each other on the outer circumferential surface of the shaft and the inner circumferential surface of the shaft support means, respectively, and the respective winding directions of the spiral grooves are reversed to each other. |
