PURPOSE:To enable sound elimination locally in a working range by a relatively simple device. CONSTITUTION:This electronic sound elimination system consists of sensor microphones 4, 5, and 6 which detect information on noises generated by plural machine devices 1, 2, and 3, a speaker 8 which radiates an additional sound for canceling the noises toward the local space where the noises are to be eliminated, an error microphone 7 which is disposed in the local space and detects propagated sound waves from the speaker 8 and machine devices 1-3, and a controller 9 which generates a driving signal to be supplied to the speaker 8 according to the input signals from the sensor microphones 4-6 and error microphone 7 so that the input signal from the error microphone 7 becomes minimum. Then the machine devices 1-3 are driven, one by one, and the information on the noises generated by the respective machine devices which are driven, one by one; and the correlations between the error signal obtained from the error microphone 7 after the machine devices 1-3 are driven and the stored information on the respective noises are calculated and only the noise information having the largest correlation is inputted to the controller 9. |
