PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of recovering a waste liquid and the cost of processing by decreasing the waste developer in processing of photosensitive materials by the automatic developing machine, to lessen the staining around the automatic developing machine by solidifying the waste developer, thereby decreasing the storage space thereof as well as to save resources and to reduce the cost of the processing by recovering developer components form the waste developer and recycling these components. CONSTITUTION:A developing section A, a washing section B and a rinsing gum section C are used in the method for processing the photosensitive materials by the automatic developing machine. The waste developer discharged in the development processing stage is separated to solid contents and a solvent. At least one of the developer components are added to the separated solvents, by which the developer is regenerated. The regenerated developer is recycled in the development processing stage. A means for separating the waste developer discharged from the development processing stage of the automatic developing machine to the solid contents and the solvent, a means for adding the development components to the solvent and a means for supplying the development processing stage are provided. |
