<p>PURPOSE:To display high picture quality MUSE video with small circuit scale by removing folding distortion caused by offset subsampling between fields by calculating an average between the fields. CONSTITUTION:Analog MUSE signal are supplied through an A/D converter 2 to a de-emphasis filter 3, the MUSE signals are FM modulated and a processing is executed to return a non-linear emphasis characteristic attending or transmission to be original. Then, an in-field interpolation circuit 4 executes an average processing to a folding component remaining in signals, which are inputted from a sampling point in the field to a folding interference removing circuit 5 and receives an interpolation processing after interpolating non- sampling points, and removes such a component. Afterwards, a signal processing circuit 6 returns time-base multiplexed signals to luminance signals and respective color difference signals and those signals are converted to three primary color signals by an inverse matrix circuit 7 and outputted through a D/A converter 8. Further, the output of the circuit 6 forms NTSC signals through a time base transformation circuit 11.</p> |
