<p>PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization of a magnetic recording/reproducing device for pulling out a tape from the cassette of a VTR, etc., and making it to run while wrapping on a rotating drum. CONSTITUTION:The moving route of a slide chassis 7 is controlled by those engagements of guide grooves 81A, 81B and 82A, 82B, and guide pins 11A, 11B and 12A, 12B, provided in guide members 8a, 8b. By this procedure, the tape 2 is pulled out from the cassette 3 while it is moving between the position nearly parallel to the axial direction of the rotary drum 1 and the final mounting position parallel to the chassis reference surface of a main chassis 6 as a reference, then the tape 2 is wrapped on the rotary drum 1 or housed in the cassette 3. Thus, the rotation angle of the tape in the course of pulling out or housing is suppressed, and the tape can be prevented from being damaged.</p> |
