<p>PURPOSE: To provide a watertight cable in the longitudinal direction that is helpful as a feedthrough sleeve, a branch sleeve, or a terminal connection part and assures a positive seal with respect to the intrusion of water by consuming as little compound for filling as possible. CONSTITUTION: A sleeve head consists of an outer body 2, where an inner hollow room is spread to an opposite side to a cable introduction side, an inner body 6 can be inserted into the hollow room, the outer-periphery surface of the inner body 6 is engaged to the conical inner-periphery surface of the outer body 2, so that a conical annular gap for receiving a conductor 7 that is spread in a cage shape of a cable 8 is formed between outer-periphery and inner- periphery surfaces, the annular gap is filled with a compound for filling, and the compound for filling is compressed by inserting the inner body 6 into the outer body 2.</p> |
