<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a correct sampling point of time for calculating a different signal by using a Viterbi detector so as to detect an error signal denoting a distance being a difference between a received symbol value and an expected recent signal sample through the use of a multiplier, an LPF and a controllable clock oscillator based on its control signal. CONSTITUTION: A received signal is sampled and converted by an A/D converter 1, and detected by a Viterbi detector 3, and an error signal denoting a distance being a difference between a received symbol value and an expected recent signal sample is obtained by using a multiplier 4, an LPF 5, a frequency control clock oscillator 6 receiving a control signal. The signal is produced in the detected signal at a symbol interval T by updating recursive candidate sequence within a related path distance introduced from a branch distance. Thus, a correct sampling point of time to calculate different signals is obtained from the detected error signal.</p> |
