DOCUMENT EDITING DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To permit a user to understand the structure of a document with at a glance at the time of preparing the document and to facilitate preparing and editing work by displaying a frame weighted in the order of the hierarchical level of a tree for each logical constitutional element of the document along with the name of the logical constitutional elements or displaying including the contents of the documents distinguished by using different colors as necessary. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a display part 12 displaying an editing operation guide for the document and a display processing part 11 displaying frames 20 weighted in the order of the hierarchical level of the tree for each logical constitutional element of the document along with the contents of the document included in the frame. The display processing part 11 distinguishes the frames 20 by using different colors and displays them on the display part 12. A hierarchical color value table 13 stores a corresponding table between the hierarchical level and the color value selecting a color to be used for painting over the frames 20 for weighting corresponding to the hierarchical level. A structure identifier table 14 stores data to be used for making the name of the logical constitutional element and color value to correspond to the frame 20 when the name of the logical constitutional element is included in the frame 20 to be displayed on the display part 12.
