PURPOSE:To shorten connecting time in the case of calling to another party succeedingly to the end of current speaking by providing a call-waiting calling requesting means. CONSTITUTION:When a slave set 8 disconnects the speaking to an opposite party under communicating at present and connects to the other opposite party, a calling request signal is sent to an exchange 1 by a call-waiting calling informing means 9. When the calling request is detected by a call-waiting calling detection means 2, the exchange 1 holds a speaking channel used by the slave set 8 by a speaking channel holding means 3, releases the connection to the opposite party of the slave set 8 by a speaking party releasing means 4, calls the new opposite party and connects it to the slave set 8 by a calling party connecting means 5. Thus, the slave set can succeedingly originate calls, and the time for calling the opposite party can be shortened. |
