PURPOSE:To drastically shorten time for preparing a fault tree by expressing system function configulation as the connection relationship of function blocks, expressing the connection relationship between the function blocks based on function block diagrams, expressing these groups in the form of a list and preparing the fault tree from the list. CONSTITUTION:Processing modules are executed based on the function block diagram expressing the functional configulation of a device or a system as the connection relationship of the function blocks which are the partial function of the device or system. That is, a connection list preparation part 1 and a fault tree preparation part 2 are provided. These indicate the program modules to be executed by a processor. The connection list preparation part 1 prepares the connection list of the function block diagrams from the functional function for each node in the function block diagrams. Finally, the fault tree is prepared from a list format group. Thus, the fault tree can be mechanically prepared from the function block diagrams of the system or device prepared in the stage of design and designer's burden can be reduced. |
