PURPOSE:To simultaneously project the images of conference participants on the divided image pickup screens of a television monitor by connecting plural video telephone terminals in the shape of a loop one and another and exchanging the images among those terminals mutually. CONSTITUTION:When a call is originated from a video telephone set terminal TE1 to a video telephone set terminal TE2 at a distant place, the image on the call originating side is transmitted while multiplexing divided image pickup screen formed on a television monitor 7 to voice channels. When the images of the divided image pickup screens are received from the terminal TE1 through incoming channels by an ISDN network EX, the terminal TE2 on the call terminating side stores this image in the correspondent area of a memory for video. The latest image of the own terminal due to a camera eye 5a is stored in the corresponding area of the memory for video and transmitted to a terminal TE3 together with the divided image pickup pictures. Thus, the image is integrated into all the divided image pickup pictures and the latest image can be obtained at all times. These image and voice are transmitted to the call terminating side terminal TE2. |
