The invention relates to devices making it possible to produce fluid screens. The device according to the invention is essentially characterised in that it comprises several modules 3, 4, n, each module comprising an oblong chamber 5-1, 5-2, 5-n, at least one spray nozzle 6-1, 6-2, 6-n on the chamber, a closed reserve 9-1, 9-2, 9-n containing liquified gas, a tube 11-1, 11-2, 11-n joining the inside of the reserve to the inside of the chamber, the tube being immersed substantially as far as the bottom of the reserve, and a controllable valve 13-1, 13-2, 13-n mounted in series on the tube, the device furthermore comprising a source 14 of a pressurised gas and controllable means 15 for joining the outlet 16 of the source to each reserve.
