The present invention relates to therapeutic and/or prophylactic uses of pyridazine compounds and to pharmaceutical compositions containing one or mo re of these compounds as an active component for treating a disorder charact erized by conduction disturbances, electroconvulsions and/or seizures, in pa rticular epilepsy, more particularly pediatric epilepsy. In an aspect of the invention, the pyridazine compound has the Formula Ia or Ib wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7 are as defined in the description.
