APPARATUS FOR TRANSFERRING SLURRY

An apparatus for transferring slurry includes a container for receiving a slurry. The container has a bottom and sidewalls defining an interior cavity and an outp ut through which slurry may exit. An output pump is positioned within the interior cavity for transferring the slurry to the output of the container. An input pump is provided for transferring the slurry from a slurry source to the container. The input pump includes a conduit having an input end, an output end, and an auger positioned within the conduit for moving the slurry from the input end to the output end. The conduit depends from the container with the input end adapted to be positioned below the bottom of the container to receive the slurry and th e output end being adapted to deposit the slurry into the container.
