<p>Process for dyeing keratin fibres consisting in applying thereon a composition containing in a medium suitable for dyeing, at least one compound of the formula (I); in which R in an alkyl, a mono or polyhydroxyalkyl, a carboxyalkyl or an aminoalkyl; R2 is hydrogen, an alkyl, a mono or polyhydroxyalkyl; R3 and R5 are H or OR, in which R is an alkyl, a mono or polyhydroxyalkyl; R4 is H, alkyl or NHR'; R6 is H, alkyl, OR or NHR'; R' is H, an alkyl, a mono or polyhydroxyalkyl; with the proviso that: a) one and only one of the radicals R4 and R6 is NHR'; b) R3 and OR1 are not at the same time methoxy when R2, R5 and R6 at the same time stand for H and R4 is NH2; c) at least one of the radicals R3, R4, R5 or R6 is H; d) R3, R4 and R5 do not at the same time stand for H when R6 = NH2, R2 is H and R1 is methyl; e) when R1 is ethyl and R2, R3, R5 and R6 are H, R4 is not NH2; f) when R1 is a carboxyalkyl or aminoalkyl, R4 should be NHR'. The composition may also contain the salts of said compound. The invention also concerns an oxidizing dye precursor, and oxidizing agent, the pH of the composition applied on the fibres being less than 7.</p> |
