PURPOSE:To provide the image forming method with which heat development progresses smoothly by using a photosensitive material which is suppressed in the degradation of sensitivity during green preservation and the generation of fogging. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material constituted by providing a photosensitive polymerizable layer contg. a silver halide, a reducing agent and a polymerizable compd. on a base is subjected to image exposing and is then heated at >=60 deg.C while or after a heat development accelerator is penetrated into the photosensitive polymerizable layer of the photosensitive material, by which the silver halide is heat developed and the polymerizable compd. is cured to an image form. The polymer image is thus formed. |
