<p>A method of treating non-streptococcal baterial infections in a mammal comprising administering to the mammal an effective amount of modified C-reactive protein (CRP) in a pharmaceutically-acceptable carrier. Modified-CRP has been found to be particularly effective in treating gram-negative bacterial infections and endotoxic shock.</p> |
